Teenage daughter

I told someone today via email that I had a 'good time with the kids' last weekend, and gave her the background info that said kids are 7 and 15. Her response was "... it's so nice to hear a parent say she had fun with a teen-ager." Kyla is 15, and she still likes me. I am cherishing these times, for fear that they may change at any moment. Teenager is synonomous with mercurial.
